Here’s how a consultation at RIHS work:
The first step in our collaboration is an initial consultation. We take the time to listen carefully and understand your situation in order to develop a tailored legal solution.
Following this consultation, you will receive a written summary (memo) outlining the key findings and conclusions. This includes a clear assessment of your prospects of success as well as an overview of the anticipated costs. On this basis, you can decide—without pressure—whether you wish to retain our firm.

You can conveniently book your appointment online via our Calendly tool. The exact fee for the initial consultation will be displayed transparently before you confirm your booking.
Fees: Billing on an hourly basis
High-quality legal advice is a worthwhile investment. Before we begin working on your matter, you will receive a realistic estimate of the expected costs. Following the initial consultation, our services are generally billed on an hourly basis.
Our fee structure is transparent and agreed upon with you in advance. Each invoice includes a detailed breakdown of the services provided and the corresponding costs.
Exception: Civil proceedings under the statutory fee schedule
In civil court proceedings, the losing party is generally required to reimburse the winning party for legal costs, including attorney’s fees. In such cases, we are pleased to base our fees on the statutory attorney fee schedule (Rechtsanwaltstarifgesetz). If you are successful, these costs are typically recoverable in full.
